Innovation of the World's fair

The innovation that came from the World's Fair was immense and put a finishing touch on the industrial revolution throughout America, including the entire fair being powered by electricity, which was the first in the history of the fair. Another significant first for the fair was the first ever Ferris wheels were shown off and used which allowed participants to gain views of the fair and the city that had previously been unattainable which impressed users significantly.

For many, this was the biggest spectacle at the World's Fair, and the history of the Ferris wheel within Chicago can still be found today as Navy Pier in downtown Chicago is famous for its Ferris wheel overlooking Lake Michigan. As well as the Ferris wheel, visitors found the first elevators, zippers, Cracker Jacks, and voice recording which all played significant roles in America and across the world, and amazed patrons upon first sight.
